I'm Matt, a wood turner based in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex.
I like to make turned wooden bowls, platters, hollow forms, vases, lamp bases, and the occasional lidded box, using predominantly native species sourced from fallen trees, saw mills, wood yards, and other sustainable sources.
I have exhibited my work at 2023 Artists Open House, Sussex Makers' Fairs, and had pieces commissioned by Margaret Howell Interiors in London and Freight Shop in Lewes. I have been selected to exhibit at the Craft in Focus Hever Castle September 2024 show.
