Scorched Oak Bowl with Copper Ties

Scorched Oak Bowl. burned with blowtorch and stripped back with wire wool. Repeat. Sealed with Natasha Craig's plant based, food safe wood oil. The splits triggered by the extreme heat of the blowtorch are stable and not extending. However, for reassurance and aesthetic reasons, i have added copper wire binding ties to hold the jaws of the splits.
