Chestnut Burr Bowl

Chestnut Burr Asymmetric Wobble Bowl with fabulous figure. Rough turned and left to relax. Burr dries at very variable rates leading to unpredictable warping. Back onto the lathe it was evident the centre of the form was no longer centred leading to an asymmetric width rim. The base is an epoxy puck that finds its own resting point depending on the weight distribution of the bowl and contents.
